Leslie Vespermann (she/her) is a final-year MSW student at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work. Her interests in social work research revolve around the intersection of the criminal legal system, education, and community-based alternatives to incarceration. Leslie has previous experience supporting juveniles and adults at the Wake County Public Defender's Office. In addition, she has worked with youth who have been suspended in Chapel Hill and Carrboro City Schools.
