Caroline Harris is a Ph.D. student at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Social Work. During her time as an MSW student, Caroline received specialized training in implementing behavioral health interventions in integrated care settings as part of the PrimeCare program at UNC-CH. Caroline has worked in various clinical settings including a hospice home, a geriatric psychiatric hospital unit, and an early-course psychosis clinic. She received her clinical license in 2023 and most recently was working as a program director for a hospital in Boston, MA and as a psychotherapist for private practice. Her past research includes examining the relationship between substance use, symptom severity, and medication adherence in those experiencing psychosis. Her primary research interests include the intersection of severe mental illness and the legal system.
