Aims:

• Develop policies and protocols for using validated assessment tools to identify and prioritize individuals with a moderate or high risk of recidivism and a need for treatment services

• Build resource capacity for the Department of Community Supervision (DCS) to target individuals with mental health disorders and mental health/substance use disorders at risk of recidivism through collaboration with local behavioral health service providers

• Adopt a clinical case consultation model

• Identify strategies for enhancing DCS’s data structures
